- Google Calendar Data: If you grant calendar access, we create study reminder events on your behalf.
- Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, and interactions within the app to improve your experience.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the Study Tracker service.
- To personalize your learning dashboard and track your study progress.
- To send study reminders via Google Calendar (only with your explicit permission).
- To improve and optimize our platform based on usage patterns.
- To communicate important updates or changes to our service.
3. Google OAuth & Calendar Access
When you sign in with Google, we request access to:
- Basic profile info: Name, email, and profile picture for your account.
- Google Calendar (optional): To add study reminder events directly to your calendar. You can revoke this access at any time from your Google Account settings.
We do not read, modify, or delete any existing calendar events. We only create new study reminder events.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is securely stored using Supabase, a trusted cloud database provider with industry-standard encryption. We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share data only with:
- Supabase: Our database and authentication provider.
- Google: For OAuth authentication and Calendar API integration.
- Legal requirements: If required by law or legal process.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at studyforyou107@gmail.com.
